Giving Back with Holiday Helpers

Fox Marin is proud to be a year-round supporter of Holiday Helpers Canada! Holiday Helpers provides deserving low-income families with a customized gift package that includes warm winter apparel, toys, housewares, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and a grocery gift card. What we love most about this charity, is that their one-time Christmas packages are given to families with young children who are trying to improve their situation. Through simple gifts like a new winter coat, Holiday Helpers is giving a helping hand to families in need.

During the summer of 2017, Fox Marin sponsored a young girl from Holiday Helpers to attend summer camp. The camp, called Boss Girls, was designed to empower young girls and help build their confidence. By sponsoring this young girl, we gifted her with an opportunity to attend a life-changing event that her family wouldn’t have been able to afford. Our Marketing Manager, Kelly Mazur, was also in attendance – speaking with the young girls about staying safe on social media!

In December 2017, the entire Fox Marin team made a trip out to the Holiday Helpers warehouse to volunteer their time. We had a blast wrapping presents for the ‘adopted’ families, and got to see first-hand the incredible work this charity is doing. We were blown away to see the size of their warehouse, and the number of volunteers who work hard each day to ensure these donated presents get out to their families in time for December 25th!
