A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Sam’s love for architecture and design was sparked after moving to Southern California, where she fell in love with everything from Malibu beach homes to Venice bungalows and Hollywood Hills mansions. Her fascination with unique properties is not just a professional interest but a personal passion that continues to drive her work in real estate, along with her love for connecting with people from all walks of life.
Sam enjoys an active lifestyle outside of work, including paddleboarding, surfing, and playing pickleball. She’s an avid traveller, having lived in places as diverse as Australia and Costa Rica, and draws inspiration from the different cultures and landscapes she’s experienced. Sam also finds time to give back, volunteering at the local Humane Society and caring for her furry friends.

My husband and I are truly lost for words to describe Sam Marasco; she is incredible, kind, thoughtful, patient, an absolute rockstar at her job and truly the platinum standard for an agent.
We started this year not planning to buy a home, met Sam and by our third visit / fourth house viewing, we had found our dream first home. This is the first home we’ve bought and we were clueless about the Toronto housing market.
From the first conversation, Sam explained every part of the home buying process to us, answered all our questions (and those we didn’t even know to ask about), followed up with a comprehensive FAQ document in plain English and checked in to see if we had any questions. When we’d developed a decent understanding of the process and were ready to start viewing, she sent us only listings that were in line with our preferences. As we visited places and our thinking evolved, she adjusted what she shared with us accordingly.
Sam carefully walked us through how to maximize all financial benefits available to us – our FHSAs, TFSAs, RRSPs, mortgage options. She appreciated our concerns about the opportunity costs of buying in a boom equities cycle and walked us through pros and cons in a fair and balanced way. She never once put pressure on us.
When we eventually bid, we felt like she was solving for us, rather than trying to maximize her commissions. Somehow, in just a few weeks, we bought a 5 year old home that checked every single box we had a year ahead of schedule.
Perhaps what’s most surreal about Sam is how helpful she’s been since we bought the home, she’s brought us care packets and holiday gifts twice already, repeatedly texts to find out how things are going, offered up her husband for any DIY work we have, has the answers to every follow up question that comes up, and does it all with a smile on her face.
If any of our friends is buying a home in the province, there is no chance they will do it with anyone else but Sam. A treasure to the world and truly an inspiration to us about the zeal and care we should put into our jobs. We are so so grateful for you, Sam!
