THE TEAM

Why Partner With
A Real Estate Team?

Take the velocity of the Toronto real estate market as it continues to move at breakneck speeds. Now, combine this with tech-savvy consumers increasingly demanding more (and rightly so) from their real estate team or individual agent. The merger of speed and demand is leading to the maturation of how business is happening here in Toronto and other major global markets.

There are so many moving parts to a successful real estate transaction. To start, there’s communication, digital and print marketing, copywriting, social media, staging and design. There’s also pricing & appraisal, negotiations, logistics and what seems to be endless paperwork administration. You’ll also want a team that has local neighbourhood knowledge, pre-construction access, possible landlord and tenant experience or home renovation experience. The list goes on! How can one person possibly do it all?

To be an experienced agent, you have to do volume. And to do volume at the highest proficiency, with a million balls in the air in real-time, requires deep resources, systems and infrastructure. Most of all, it involves a collaborative effort of experts all operating in sync.

When the stakes are this high, making the decision to work with a cutting edge Top Real Estate Brokerage in Toronto could not be more important.

Taking a moment here to thank the entire team at Fox Marin for exceeding our expectations and delivering one of the best experiences I have ever had as a customer.

— Kevin White, Senior Client Executive at Telus Communications

Native Torontonian Ralph Fox recognized from an early age that the most successful people in life apply long-term thinking to their investments, relationships, and life goals. It’s this philosophy, along with his lifelong entrepreneurial drive and exceptional business instincts, that have helped to establish Ralph as a top broker in the real estate market in downtown Toronto.

From the age of 12, Ralph set his sights on running his own business, and by 14, he’d already started two successful enterprises. After achieving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, Ralph launched an importing and manufacturing company from the trunk of his car. In his twenties, Ralph continued to hone his negotiating skills by brokering business deals with partners in China, Hong Kong, India and Thailand, while at the same time managing sales agencies in major cities across the U.S. and Canada. Within a few short years, he grew his company into a full-scale operation with sales distribution networks that spanned North America and over time he was able to parlay his business acumen into his other big passion – Toronto’s real estate market.

Ralph is a firm believer in the long-term potential of the Toronto real estate market. Ralph is the broker of record and founder of Fox Marin Associates – a boutique, full-service Toronto real estate brokerage with close to a half Billion in sales volume under its belt. Ralph puts his decades of success in Toronto’s incredibly competitive marketplace to work, hammering out smart solutions that meet each client’s unique personal and financial objectives. He also practices what he preaches, having built a significant and growing residential investment portfolio of his own. Ralph has partnered with some of the largest developers in Canada and has contributed his unique perspective on real estate trends to a wide range of media outlets, including The Globe and Mail, The Huffington Post, Canadian Real Estate Wealth magazine, Global TV News, CTV, Metro News, The Toronto Star, and the New Condo Guide magazine.

Ralph has a keen interest in understanding how to maximize human potential and longevity. As an avid reader, some of his greatest business influences are Warren Buffett, Elon Musk and Richard Branson. Ralph is also a personal performance and leadership coach, certified by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). Ralph holds a Master’s Certification in Negotiation from Harvard University and has been asked to judge the University of Toronto-Rotman School of Management’s Marketing Case Study Finals.

A true Renaissance man, Ralph enjoys the thrill of fast-paced business negotiations just as much as consulting with clients on trends in architecture and design. His “work-hard-play-hard” mentality means that in his rare off-hours, you’re just as apt to catch him lacing up his hockey skates, hitting a new personal record at the gym, enjoying a fine Ripasso in a local Italian restaurant, or wandering Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood with brokerage partner Kori Marin and their loveable Rhodesian ridgeback, Draper.

For high-energy real estate aficionado Kori Marin, a well-lived life is achieved by maintaining an “all-in” attitude that realizes every last ounce of one’s full potential. This mindset has driven successful results in every aspect of her life – from her corporate sales and account management experience to her international travels, to her years of fitness training and leadership – and is the hallmark of the exceptional work that she does on behalf of her clients in the residential real estate sector in downtown Toronto.

Kori first exhibited this “all-in” approach when, at the age of eleven, she left home to train as a classical dancer. Later, while studying at Dalhousie University, she determined that the best application of her discipline and personal drive lay in business, where she could continue to test her abilities in new and exciting ways. This led to a seven-year stint in corporate sales, where she managed a $70+ million portfolio of accounts, including a who’s who of North American retail giants like Walgreens, Target, CVS and Shoppers Drug Mart. Kori was praised for her analytical mindset and incomparable organizational skills – traits that have also served her well as she’s built her own real estate investment portfolio, and would allow her to transition effortlessly into real estate as a full-time career.

Determined as ever, from the moment Kori focused her attention on the real estate industry, people took notice: in her first year, she won Rookie of the Year and President’s Sales awards from Royal LePage Real Estate Services, J&D Division – one of the largest and most established brokerages in Toronto. In time, it became apparent that the big luxury brands that often take a “one-size-fits-all” approach to real estate were becoming more and more antiquated, and failed to serve the best interests or the specific needs of Kori’s creative, forward-thinking and design-savvy clientele. Because of this, Kori and her partner Ralph made the decision to combine their diverse expertise and complementary skill sets, to revitalize the residential real estate experience for Toronto home buyers, sellers, and investors. And so, Fox Marin Associates was born.

Now among the Top 1% of Toronto Realtors, Kori continues to bring her own brand of charismatic energy, creative integrity, and expertise to her multifaceted work-life: not only is she a managing partner in the unstoppable force that is Fox Marin Associates – a consistently five star-rated brokerage with close to a quarter billion in real estate sales volume in its first three years. She’s also an attentive and relatable manager of a growing team of both seasoned and up-and-coming real estate powerhouses in central and downtown Toronto.

When she’s not marketing properties for sale, consulting with clients, gaining certifications in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard University, Digital Marketing from Brain Station or taking a turn judging Rotman’s Business School Marketing Case Studies, Kori channels her boundless energy into fitness training or hiking with brokerage partner Ralph Fox and their #1 Ridgeless Rhodesian ridgeback, Draper. She also travels widely and has logged many kilometres of exploration around the world. Her favourite journeys to date? Trekking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, going on safari in South Africa’s Kruger National Park, and visiting the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

As a Torontonian, born and raised, sales professional and trained craftsman Ian Busher brings a broad understanding of the ins and outs of Toronto living, along with a deep passion for art, design, and construction, to the work of buying and selling homes with Fox Marin Associates.

Ian excels in situations where he can put his multi-faceted background to the test: After brief stints at OCAD, in advertising, and in audio engineering, he worked for three years to become a ministry-licensed Red Seal carpenter, which solidified his expertise in all types of home-building and carpentry: from structural framing to installing doors, windows and trim, to the finer art of furniture and cabinet making. For many years before turning his skills to the Toronto real estate market he owned and ran his own contracting company and worked to renovate and update some truly remarkable older homes and condos in Toronto’s Rosedale, Forest Hill, and Leaside neighbourhoods.

In early 2014 Ian shifted focus from the applied work of home construction to dedicate his attention to the work of buying and selling properties. In this expanded role, he loves to educate home-buyers and sellers on the unique features of each property – those special touches that can turn a house into a home, and a home into a show-stopping retreat. He takes pride in his ability to assess the quality and condition of a property. This, in tandem with his talent for speaking to the feasibility and cost of potential renovations, and his eye for the aesthetic details, make him a powerful partner for anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the Toronto area.

Ian lives in the Cedarvale neighbourhood with his wife, and they can often be found walking the local parks and ravine trails with their two dogs. In his spare time (of which there is little), he also continues to work on his visual arts practice, play guitar, and brainstorm ideas with friends and past clients who are thinking of renovating!

Initially starting her Real Estate career as the firm’s multi-talented Business Development Manager – working behind the scenes on the entire Team’s negotiations, marketing initiatives and data analysis, it is through this wealth of first-hand experience that now allows Jessica to help her own clients navigate through the nuances of Toronto’s real estate market with confidence and context.

Get to know Jessica better, and you’ll learn that her passionate, “go-getter” attitude doesn’t apply just to her work. Indeed, it shines through everything she does: from her studies in Journalism and Communications or her tenure with a leading Architectural and Development firm located in Toronto’s downtown core, and back down to the travel bug that has led her to explore some of the most vibrant & diverse cities in the world.

When she is not building listing presentations, developing pricing analysis’, or keeping clients updated on the latest industry trends, you can find Jessica in the kitchen – creating her own recipes and mastering Pinterest finds; or, exploring the City of Toronto that she calls home with her partner David and their furbaby Bowman – a Shiba Inu rescue pup who they love more than anything.

Natural competitor and perpetually on-the-go Jerome Werniuk believes that a diverse skill set and drive for continuous self-discovery and growth is the key to a fulfilling life. Jerome channelled his competitive instincts from an early age into athletics and played NCAA Division I baseball at St. John’s University in New York. Though he found success in baseball, competing for Team Canada and being drafted by the Texas Rangers, Jerome ultimately realized his skills as a natural leader and teammate could be better honed in the business world.

After earning his undergraduate degree and working and living in New York, Jerome returned to his native Toronto to pursue a career in real estate. He joined one of Toronto’s most successful commercial real estate teams that focused primarily on office leasing in the downtown core and periphery. In his 2.5 years on the team, Jerome helped negotiate $125M in lease value annually, representing landlord clients including Allied Properties, Slate, Kingsett Capital, Dream, Greybook, Hullmark, Lifetime Developments, and Cresford as well as notable tenant clients such as Shopify for their post-IPO expansion.

In 2017, eager to work at the exciting intersection of real estate and technology, Jerome was a founding team member at venture-backed proptech company Naborly, launching its sales arm and eventually relocating to San Francisco to continue the company’s growth. Naborly’s software products were designed to assist residential landlords, property managers, and agents with the rental application and screening process, and in the 3.5 years Jerome worked there, it became the largest tenant screening company in Canada.

Jerome has lived and worked in many exciting neighbourhoods and real estate markets across Toronto, New York, and San Francisco. Now representing residential clients in the city that has always been his true home, Jerome is excited to channel his unique knowledge base in real estate and technology to help his clients achieve their desired results. Having negotiated transactions with Fortune 500 companies, Canada’s largest commercial real estate firms, and individual landlords, Jerome brings a breadth of negotiating experience to the table and understands how to achieve a client’s goals in complicated scenarios. And even more than athletics and business, Jerome has always had a passion for people. His natural energy and curiosity allow him to quickly get to the heart of what clients truly need and to adopt their interests as his own.

Jerome lives in the Roncesvalles-High Park area with his partner Sarah and their two babies – one human (Elliott), one dog (Nakita). He continues to scratch his inner athlete and ‘can’t-sit-still’ itch by cycling, playing hockey on Toronto’s many outdoor rinks, and being hurt year after year by the Maple Leafs.

Doris transitioned into real estate after a six-year tenure in Asset Management, where she first specialized in Mutual Funds and then took on Private Equity and Hedge Fund investments while supporting Investment Managers across Canadian and United States markets. Throughout her career, she exhibited exceptional proficiency in navigating client issues and fostering positive experiences—a hallmark of the high-value service she now provides to her real estate clients.

Holding a second-degree black belt, she embodies the values of self-discipline, dedication, and perseverance.

Her journey in karate taught her that consistent effort and unwavering commitment are the keys to achieving any goal. Doris lives by two guiding principles instilled in her by her karate training: “Failing to prepare is preparing to fail” and “Is it black belt excellence?” These mantras serve as constant reminders of the significance of meticulous preparation and always striving to do her best in every task she undertakes. There are no shortcuts in “Black Belt Excellence.”

When not immersed in the world of real estate, Doris finds joy in sharing moments with loved ones and indulging in her passion for cooking. She’s been the secret sauce behind her partner’s sauce business and Malaysian food pop-ups, bringing markets to life with flair. Her genuine warmth and dedication to building meaningful connections make her a great agent and a trusted partner in the journey toward finding high-quality acquisitions.

Grace recognizes and appreciates that people are most successful when they live in a space that makes them feel like the most comfortable and confident version of themselves. Growing up around the GTA, she deeply loves the city and has always loved exploring and taking in everything that Toronto has to offer.

Grace spent four years in a Top-Tier Business program at Queen’s University, learning the ins and outs of economics, marketing, and sales. In addition to her degree, Grace earned a Certificate of Social Impact, exhibiting the importance of giving back and working for something bigger than herself, a value that has been ingrained in her from a young age. This saw her volunteering in elementary schools in Kingston and helping a local gym devise a strategy to stay afloat during the pandemic.

Grace’s international experience has significantly shaped her perspective. In 2019, she had the opportunity to travel abroad and complete an exchange program in Helsinki, Finland. The four months that she spent in Europe opened her eyes to different ways of life and gave her perspective on what matters most. She met and made friends with individuals from all over the world, with whom she remains in touch today. Finland also helped her find a passion for sustainability by firsthand experiencing the ways it is embedded in university curriculums and everyday life. She came home with a love for travel and experiencing the world, something that she continues to this day.

After graduating from university, Grace started her career in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry, working for a Fortune 500 Company for three years. She spent her time in an Account Manager role, working with one of the leading grocery stores in Canada. Grace learned the importance of relationship management and staying calm under pressure in this role. She proved herself an invaluable team member, always willing to roll up her sleeves to get the job done. She navigated through a tumultuous time in the industry with its changing dynamics while also playing a role in launching a new brand in Canada.

After many wonderful experiences in CPG, Grace has turned her focus to real estate. She brings positive energy to Fox Marin and is excited to help her clients find homes they love! An ambitious and driven individual at heart, Grace is committed to working hard for her clients and keeping people at the centre of what she does.

Grace has lived in various neighbourhoods throughout the city, including Lawrence Park South, Leslieville and Harbourfront. She lives in the heart of downtown with her partner, Mitch, and their cat, Marty. In her spare time, you can find Grace continuing to explore the city of Toronto and eating her way through the city’s culinary scene. A foodie at heart, Grace enjoys spending time in the kitchen, using cooking as a creative outlet. She enjoys hosting her friends and has become known for her Friendsgiving, a day when she brings all her circles together to share a meal. Outside of food, Grace loves to practice Yoga and is a proud member of the Peloton Community!

Sean Bridge, hailing from the picturesque Thunder Bay, Ontario, has flourished in environments that foster connections and nurture diverse interests. His upbringing was marked by a unique blend of urban residential, rural, farm, and waterfront properties, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of varied property types from an early age (he must be our in-house rural expert because none of us city-dwellers know anything about wells or septic tanks)!.

Before diving into real estate professionally, Sean’s career path was rich and varied, encompassing roles such as lifeguarding, retail, serving, education, and, notably, baking. After earning a degree in Psychology & Education from Lakehead University, his passion for the culinary arts led him to Toronto in 2016, where he earned a diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts from George Brown College. Known for delighting friends and family with his tasty baking creations, Sean’s culinary skills are a celebrated feature at Fox Marin—much to the despair of our waistlines!

The onset of the pandemic marked a significant turning point for Sean, propelling him into a full-time pursuit of real estate. His career is not just about transactions but about building enduring relationships. Sean is passionate about helping clients realize their real estate aspirations while enriching his personal expertise and knowledge. Sean views each new property as an opportunity to learn something new, reflecting his lifelong commitment to continuous learning and never-ending improvement.

Balancing his demanding work schedule in Toronto, Sean finds solace in travelling. An unforgettable trip to Japan in 2020, just before the world shut down, left a lasting impression on him. Outside of work, Sean enjoys exploring Toronto, taking long walks with his dog Callie, crushing his spin classes, and pursuing new adventures around the globe! And Sean’s competitive spirit is pretty darn legendary. Once, it even convinced him to complete a marathon with an unknowingly broken leg to win a “friendly” race—a story he shares with pride (and some bemusement).

Among Sean’s favourite Toronto neighbourhoods is Roncesvalles, or “Roncy,” which is known for its strong community vibe—neighbours know each other by name, reflecting the warmth and familiarity of his hometown. As a lover of baked goods, Sean is always eager to share recommendations for some top local bakeries, including Castle & Coal, Roselle’s, Honey’s Ice Cream, and Craig’s Cookies.

With a unique blend of personal and professional experiences, Sean Bridge is not just “another” Toronto real estate agent but a dedicated partner to his clients. Sean’s growing career is marked by ongoing education, community dedication, and a steadfast commitment to excellence—traits that make him an essential part of the Fox Marin team.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Emma Mcconville had already built a strong reputation for client management and service before she relocated to Toronto in 2016. It only took her about a month to fall in love with her new city’s vibrant and ever-changing neighbourhoods—particularly Little Italy, where she now resides.

As Fox Marin Associates’ General Manager, Emma is in charge of all of the moving parts of the dynamic residential real estate sales and marketing firm. This means you’re just as likely to see her quarterbacking client meetings in their Midtown office as seeking out artwork and interior design elements on Queen West to help stage stylish properties across the downtown core.

While Emma settles into her new home-away-from-home, she continues to take advantage of all that the city has to offer. As a former ballerina and dance teacher, she’s keen to take in as many theatre performances as possible. She has also tapped into Toronto’s rich food and mixology culture, and loves to try out new restaurants in her off-time!
