5 Toronto Restaurant Openings for Fall 2017

5 Toronto Restaurant Openings for Fall 2017

With no shortage of great restaurants in Toronto, the question of “where should we eat” is never easy to answer! The decision just got even harder, because a ton of new restaurants have been popping up across the city lately. Today we’re rounding up the top 5 Toronto restaurant openings for Fall 2017. These are five delicious places you can add to your “must-try” list, so that you’ll always be prepared with restaurant suggestions this month. Bon appetit!

Aloette

163 Spadina Ave | website

Aloette is being dubbed the “little sister” of famed restaurant Alo – but don’t let the nickname fool you! The food at Aloette is expected to be just as delicious, with a focus on diner classics. The Aloette Burger is already a fan favourite (topped with Beaufort cheese!), but the Hamachi Sashimini with Granny Smith apple is just as good.

Assembly Chef’s Hall

111 Richmond Street W | website

This isn’t your average food court! Some of the city’s top chefs have locations in the brand new Assembly Chef’s Hall located at 111 Richmond Street W. The most notable spots: Little Khao (from the owner of Khao San Road), Colibiri (from Los Colibris and El Caballito) and a second location for Cherry Street BBQ. When you’ve done eating, grab a pint at the massive beer hall!

Bacchanal

60 Sudbury Street | website

When alumni of Campagnolo, Alo and Le Select come together to open a new restaurant, you know it’s going to be good. Bacchanal recently opened up on Sudbury Street with a small but mighty menu focusing on classic French bistro dishes. Go for the food – but don’t forget to swoon over the gorgeous blue plates and gold cutlery!

The Cheesecake Factory

Yorkdale Mall | website

Gone are the days when we have to hop the border to get our cheesecake fix! November 21st marks the opening of Canada’s first-ever Cheesecake Factory at Yorkdale Mall. Fans of this chain will be happy to know that the entire 250-item menu will be served – which includes over 50 varieties of cheesecake! Yay!

Hogtown Smoke

55 Colborne Street | website

Hogtown Smoke has been a long-time favourite in the Beaches, and now there’s a second location opening up at 55 Colborne Street this month! The original Hogtown Smoke started out as a food truck, and it didn’t take long for them to amass a cult following for their beef ribs, pulled pork and signature sides.
